Making a Fresh Start!
Monday, July 21st, 2008I haven’t really decided what I going to use this webspace for. As long as you’re here though…let me tell you about my grandchildren.
I have 11! Wow! Do I feel old!!!
One of my hobbies is photography.

This may seem like a typical picture to those living in
Southwest Georgia.
It’s a combination of the wild flowers that grow here. Broom sage, Goldenrod, Bitterweed, and a wild yellow daisy, all growing together next to a small pine.
Taken in Plains, Georgia, just outside the gate to Former President Jimmy Carter’s home.
I was told recently that some people have never seen goldenrod or know what it is. To us in the south, it’s that pretty flower that the children pick and take to their moms in the fall.
(Most of us are allergic to it!)
Spring is baseball season, so you’ll usually see me snapping some shots at the games.
If you like baseball, here are some shots I took last spring… Orioles Photo Gallery
And if you really love baseball, here are some shots I took this spring… Americus-Sumter Recreation!
I’ve just finished some special shots for Base Hit magazine. You can view them here. Give it some time to load if you’re on dial-up. There are over 300 photos.
If you think you might be interested in purchasing some of my photos, you can visit my web studio.
Occasionally I get the chance to something a little different…like a wedding.
When you get there…Scroll down the page and check out the slide show! Or…you can click the link below if you are interested in purchasing some of my pics!
Another hobby that kinda goes along with my photography is Scrapbooking
Though I’m not as heavy into it right now as I once was, it is still a lot of fun. Especially since I can now make them digital!
Eventually, I will post some for you to see.
